Communication Committee Chair
With Alchemy on the horizon and the shifting health concerns in the world today it’s more important than ever that we as a community have productive conversations so we'd like to invite you to apply for the Communications Committee Chair position.
The Communications Committee works with the Board and Event Committee to manage communications for Flashpoint Artist Initiative. This includes overseeing the Alchemist, guiding the social media message with the Info department, and working with the Tech Ops sub committee on website content. We’re looking for good writers, social media managers, and people who are willing to interact with others to help keep the community informed and engaged.
This is an especially great opportunity for those who aren't able to volunteer on site but would still like to help or would like a more continuous scope to help FAI make a meaningful impact on the community.
The Basics
We're looking for someone who can be:
comfortable online, with social media, chat, etc.
available for monthly meeting with the committee (long distance video calls are fine)
able to interact with all types of people while staying outwardly calm even in difficult situations
able to delegate to their team and work with them as well as the Board and EC
