Alchemy is October 13-17, 2016

Alchemy will take place from Thursday October 13th - 17th at Little Big Jam, 325 Daniel Road, Bowdon GA

Yes. However, all participants under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. You are responsible for your own offspring! Please see this page regarding local laws and minors.

The gate will open to pre-approved early entry arrivals at 12 pm on Wednesday of the event. All other participants may arrive at 10 am on Thursday of the event.

Yes.  The gate will open at 10AM on Thursday and will remain open until the event ends. HOWEVER: we may need to close the gate in the event of inclement weather or emergency on site.

You need your ticket and a photo ID. ID must be something with your legal name and a photo. Drivers licenses, passports, school IDs, military IDs, concealed carry permits, etc all work, as long as they have a photo!

YOU MUST BRING YOUR TICKET TO THE GATE. The gate staff cannot look up tickets using your name/email/phone number/dog's name/anything like that. If you lost your ticket and need to print another copy, click this link and enter your email.

The effigy burns on Saturday night, after dusk.
No, there are not. Please come prepared with everything you would need!

There are no showers or power. Be radically self reliant! Please be considerate of the environment when taking showers: use biodegradable soaps!

All vehicles, except registered mutant vehicles, must be parked in the parking lot. After unloading your vehicle at your camp site, park your car in one of the rows in the parking lot.

You have two choices: either convince 15 people to give you their in/out tokens, or pay the full price of an Event Return Ticket. Otherwise, once you leave, you're out. Please be radically self reliant and bring everything you need, so you don't have to leave!

No pets are allowed at Alchemy. No exceptions.

Yes. If you are planning to bring a service animal you must register it here[link to service animal page] AND it must be approved by our Service Animal Task Lead. Anyone who shows up at the gate with a non-registered or non-approved service animal will not be allowed to enter the event.

Ticket FAQs:

There will be 3 rounds of ticket sales, totaling 2,700 tickets, at $90 each.

 

900 tickets on Tuesday, July 5th at 8:00 PM
900 tickets  on Friday, July 22nd at 7:00 PM
900 tickets on Saturday, August 6th at Noon.

Our tickets are sold through Thundertix, and major credit cards are accepted.

No. Our systems are integrated with a third-party checkout and so you must use the mechanism on that site to order an invitation.

Yes. Children under 12 who are accompanying their invitation-holding parents or guardians are not required to have an invite. NO COMPS are given to anyone, including volunteers, team leads, board members, members of the press, people who build awesome theme camps, artists displaying work, performers, bands, or anyone else. No exceptions. Please don't ask for a free ticket.

No. The entire event is run by volunteers. Even members of the Board of Directors, Event Lead Team, and Team Leadership are required to purchase their own tickets.
